About two awards to the parish of Saint Apostle Jacob.

 

During the Service in the church of St. Apostle Jacob in Mundare, Alberta, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada Bishop Iov (Job) awarded A Certificate of Merit (“The Bishop’s Gramota”) – to Marshall Chmilar – who is now quitting his position due to health problems – for many years of serving as the  director of the parish corporation.

This is not the first “Bishop’s Gramota” in the history of the parish of Saint Jacob. In 1904 the similar Gramota was handed to the founder of the parish Kodrat Sheremeta by His Grace Bishop Tikhon, the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia (1917-1925).
