Recent appointments for Patriarchal Parishes

V. Rev. Igor Kisil –  New Rector for St. Barbara’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Edmonton

On July 12, 2018, by the Decree (Ukase) of His Grace, Job, Bishop of Kashira, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in  Canada, V. Rev. Igor Kisil, was released from his duties as the priest of Orthodox 9 Parishes and was appointed as the Rector of St. Barbara’s Cathedral in Edmonton. On  Sunday, October 7, Father Igor conducted his first official  Divine Liturgy with a following  welcome reception after the service.

 

Appointment of a new dean of the Patriachal Parishes for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan

On September 10, 2018, by the Decree (Ukase) of His Grace, Matthew, Bishop of  Sourozh,  temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in  Canada, V. Rev Igor Kisil, Rector of St. Barbara’s Cathedral  was appointed as the  dean of the Patriachal Parishes for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

V. Rev. Evgeniy Protsenko – New Priest for Orthodox 9 Parishes

On September 10, 2018, by the Decree (Ukase) of His Grace, Matthew, Bishop of  Sourozh,  temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in  Canada, Archpriest Evheniy  Protsenko, was released from his duties as the rector  of Sts. Peter & Paul  Russian Orthodox Church in Regina  and was appointed as the parish priest of Orthodox 9 Parishes.
