Birthday of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia

On November 20, 2020, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky in the monastery of the same name near Peredelkino in the Moscow Region.

Today the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates his 74th birthday.

During the Liturgy, His Holiness Vladyka offered fervent prayers for the newly departed His Holiness Patriarch Irineus of Serbia and Metropolitan Theophan of Kazan and Tatarstan, who died this morning.

At the end of the Liturgy, His Holiness Vladyka served a litia for the late Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the head of the Tatarstan Metropolia.

His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, sent congratulations to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill from the clergy and laity of the Sourozh Diocese and the Patriarchal Parishes on the North American continent.
